Big Black Birds, Croaks and Caws

(and a few other critters!)

Here are some links.

On this site

You may want to see my newly created Ravens Page.  There isn't much there right now, but there is a good true story!

You can also visit my photo page, where I have some pictures of birds, and other things.  Needs to be rebuilt.  I will have more pictures there when this is accomplished.

All over the ’Net

A site about crows:  www.crows.net  Learn about their culture and language.

Does anybody care about the crows?  Of course!  Check out Jonathan Higbee's Corvine Advocacy Page.

Visit The Rookery.  A rook enthusiast in the U.K. has lots of information about rooks and other corvids, stories about corvids, and links to websites written by corvid enthusiasts.

I keep hearing about this one on the internet, so I figured I might as well post a link to it myself.  Read all about (and see the photo evidence of) the feathered thieves at the carwash!  These birds were probably not attracted to the shiny coins, per se, but were rather attempting to clean out a potential nesting site.  Starlings are known for spending lots of time working on a nesting spot, getting it ready for use.  The problem with this one was that people kept messing it up with those stupid metal disks, so they had to keep removing them!

This page is styled exclusively with css, cascading style sheets. For some reason the styling isn't working.  Either your browser doesn't fully support stylesheets, or it is configured not to use my stylesheet, or some other problem (possibly my fault!) is preventing the stylesheet from controlling the layout of this page.  If you don't know why you're seeing this message, or think you shouldn't be seeing it, email me and I'll try to help you out.
